Requirements for a New Passport:

Note: This section is for Afghan nationals who would like to apply for new or extend their passports.

1)- One passport application form.
2)- Three passport-sized photos (with name written at the back and attached with cellophane tape).
3)- If you have second citizenship, provide a copy of your ID/IC Card (front and back), evidence to prove original nationality.
4)- Passport application fee for 5 years of validation: $104
5)- Passports with validation for (1, 2, 3, 4) year(s) are available.

If you are applying by mail, please include a prepaid, self-addressed return envelope.

Requirements for a Passport Extension:

1)- One passport extension application form
2)- Two passport-sized photos (with name written at the back and attached with cellophane tape.)
3)- Your original passport.
4)- Passport renewal fee for 5 years: $100
5)- Passport Extensions for (1, 2, 3, 4) year(s) are available.

If you are applying by mail, please include a prepaid, self-addressed return envelope.
